KANAVAL ART OPPORTUNITIES

Jacques Eugene's 'The Messenger' and Serge Jolimeau's 'Tree of Life' screen are two of the strongest pieces of Haitian metal art available worldwide. Both are world-renowned artists that we are thrilled to display during our Kanaval Bal. Sale of these works will raise funds for 2023 Queen Marie Jose Poux's orphanage as well as Krewe Du Kanaval.

 
 

Queen Marie Jose Poux and the Foyer Espoir Poux les Enfants (FEPE) orphanage that she founded in November 2009 and its companion Ecole Foyer Espoir (EFE) school founded in 2010.

Marie began with FEPE orphanage with 14 children. After the January 12, 2010 earthquake devastated Port-au-Prince and killed more than 100,000 people there, Mariejo accepted 20 other children. The EFE school started the following Summer to teach children n the still rubble-filled streets of Delmas,  Port-au-Prince. EFE has since grown to 258 students in Classes from pre-Kindergarten to 12th Grade.
